Cotswold Garden with Rooms

They wanted a garden of rooms so each room created was colour themed & lead naturally to the next.
Image 1 details the classic Cotswold planting & shows the path that leads around the property from one room to the next.
Image 2 details the duck egg blue curved trellis that screens the car parking & really looks great against the Cotswold stone of the house - particularly when covered in scented flowers !
Image 3 shows a couple of the old terracotta urns we bought & used as water features within the dining courtyard. These are easy to maintain & always look good - ideal for this couple as it was their weekend retreat !
The final image 4 shows the path to the front of the house. This garden really suits the house & its owners, it is interesting 12 months of the year due to a good structure, lots of thought & good planting.

Clematis - 'Niobe' , Climbers over arch by house - Roses - Harkness Felicite - perpetue' & 'Reine Victoria' (soft pinks to link with house & lavender - scented) or 'Constance spry' (richer pink), Clematis florida 'Sieboldii' ( creamy petals & purple centres to link with lavender), Echinops Ritro'veitch's blue', Acanthus mollis,· Hebe cupressoides . Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Blue spire', Allium globemaster giant, Allium azureum, Brachyglottis Monroi 'Sunshine, Artemesia ludoviciana 'Silver Queen', Eryngium bourgatii 'Oxford Blue', Rosmarinus officinalis, Standard laurus nobilis, Ilex crenata 'latifolia' ,Wisteria sinensis 'prolific',Acanthus mollis, Viburnum tinus, Ornithogalum narbonense, Allium Azureum & Camassia esculenta," Cornus controversa 'variegata'.
