By garden desginer Tom Stuart-Smith.
The Laurent-Perrier Garden is a vision of romance and elegance, offering a private space for entertainment or reflection.
A modern garden of varying textures, the centrepiece is an elegant bronze pavilion, designed by award-winning architect Jamie Fobert, which overlooks an elongated pool.
The pavilion is constructed from folded sheets of patinated copper, which contrasts with the naturalistic woodland planting that surrounds it.
A pattern of paths guides the viewer through the trees, whilst natural stone provides a rich, textured wall around the garden.
The planting comprises three elements: a grove of Betula and river birch, hedges of cloud-pruned box, and spring woodland planting.
