By garden designer Alison Miles. "It's not what you've got, it's what you use that makes a difference".
Designed with a young professional couple in mind, the garden is a retreat for relaxation at the end of a busy day.
It is located at the end of a narrow, suburban plot, where an open gateway invites exploration of the garden beyond.
A mellow brick path leads through an informal planting scheme; one area features richly coloured tapestry planting, another section is cool and calm, accentuated by sculptural clipped forms and elegant shrubs.
Here in this private space, two benches can be found from where this peaceful garden can be fully appreciated and enjoyed.
