Roof Garden Oasis Hampstead

This generous roof space was made load bearing by introducing steel beams that were covered in decking. Bespoke planting containers were designed to zone the space, create movement both vertically and horizontally and act as the safety barrier.

The space was divided into two areas, entertainment and relaxation. A contemporary outdoor kitchen was installed with a bbq, fridge and plenty of workspace. We sourced some contemporary outdoor dining furniture for the client. Splashes of colour added through the pink and orange cushions. A water feature planted with aquatics provides a relaxing sound as water pours through the blade.

Plants were carefully considered to cope with the weather conditions on the roof, to provide plenty of colour, scent and winter interest.

Subtle lighting gives the space a warm and cosy ambience at night.

In addition to this bedding is used in the spring to sit with the colours of the cushions, we also pot up Orange and Pink tulips for late spring colour.
