A sensitive use of materials and period planting (all species introduced prior to 1900), provide a private sanctuary in a busy city. Lighting, hidden within the plants, offers a gentle ambience after dark. Architectural salvage, including chimney pots lend the garden a historical character appropriate for its setting.
