By garden designer David Domoney. The Naked Garden will be a horticultural space that enables plants to get their pots off!
By exposing the shrubs in a series of cleverly constructed glass containers, David hopes to display their “naked” beauty and expose that which is traditionally left undiscovered.
The design for the space will see plants suspended in containers, with water supplying an optimal feed as well as all the key nutrients a plant needs to grow. By embracing a soilless culture, the complete structure of each plant, including the roots, can be fully appreciated.
The garden design is given a minimalist edge through the widespread use of transparent material, resulting in the feeling of space & vision; a cubist theme used to unite all the elements.
