Trackbed garden

By garden designer Teresa Rham. The garden takes its inspiration from a section of the Cambrian Railways line on the Welsh border.

It is intended to capture the atmosphere of the location rather than to provide a faithful reproduction.

It has been designed to bring attention to the work of the Cambrian Heritage Railways restoration project, and to promote the ecological benefit that railway lines can provide.

The planting has been selected to create a naturalistic look, to provide a haven for wildlife and to act as a green corridor between neighbouring habitats.
