Biological control of thrips

A predatory bug, Orius laevigatus, and several mite species including Amblyseius species, Hypoaspis species, and Macrocheles roibustulus can be use to control thrips in glasshouses.

A mix of pathogenic nematodes can be purchased from biological control suppliers.
