Cultural control of false smut on palms

There are a few ways to control false smut on palms.

For outdoor and greenhouse plants, remove severely infected fronds. In particular, those that have 30% or more of the surface are infected.

In greenhouses:

- False smut thrives in humid conditions. Reduce humidity whenever possible. 

- Ensure adequate air flow.
