Though ever present, there are a number of ways to control grey mould in the garden:
- Remove infected leaves, buds, and flowers as soon as grey mould damage is detected.
- Remove and dispose of dead plant material promptly as this debris can harbour the fungus.
- At planting, allow ample space between plants to encourage good air flow.
- Keep the growing area weed-free to improve air flow and reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination.
