Cultural control of onion white rot

Onion white rot is nearly impossible to eradicate once it has been introduced to the soil. 

Since it is transmitted throught contaminated soil, great care must be taken to avoid cross-contamination in the garden. Disinfect tools and footwear immediately after working in soil where onion white rot exists.
