Cultural control of sclerotinia diseases

The goal of sclerotinia disease control is to prevent the sclerotia (black, seed-like  structures) from contaminating the soil. Remove and destroy infected plants as soon as the disease is detected. Do not add this plant material to compost heaps or bins.
