Deadhead camellias (optional)

You can use finger and thumb to pick or snap off each dead head where it joins the stem, but it is better to use secateurs to cut just below the flower head. The cut will be cleaner and you will help avoid leaving an open and damaged stem.

Also avoid damaging buds or developing growths immediately below the flower.
