Prune back shoots damaged by frost

If there is any frost damage growth in spring, prune off damaged shoots to just above the first undamaged leaves or buds on live, healthy wood. However, do not prune if there is a risk of further frosts, as the damaged growth may still be protecting the surrounding, undamaged growth.
