Sow french bean seeds

Sow french bean seeds in rows 50 cm (18 in) apart and spaced 10 cm (4 in) apart.

If you want an early crop, position cloches on the soil to warm up in March and sow in early April. Only remove cloches a month later. Later sowings (late May - June) are most successful in cooler or damper climates.

Water in and and protect with a cloche or fleece during the first few weeks.
