Thin carrot and parsnip seedlings

Thin out the seedlings in the evening when they grow large enough to handle. Leave 5 cm between each seedling and firm soil around remaining plants. Try not to bruise leaves, as this will attract carrot fly. Burn or destroy removed seedlings.
