I'm a garden designer, mother, wife, chicken mummy and all round science and nature-geek. I'm lucky enough to be based in the beautiful village of Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield. I'm passionate about spending time outdoors with nature and helping people make the most of their little bits of paradise.

Biggest gardening accomplishments

Everything is an accomplishment! I have designed hard and soft landscaping for private gardens in the Slaithwaite area and been part of a Gold-award winning show garden team in 2014. I love sharing my garden with my little boy, enjoying the delights of nature.

Biggest gardening frustrations

My only real frustration is not having enough time in my own garden, being a busy working mum. So I practice what I preach, low maintenance planting, with a relaxed attitude to weeds, wild visitors and the ravages of the weather.

The gardening project I am currently working on

A stunning deconsecrated church in Bacup Lancashire. Creative and calming, the site will be welcoming visitors from the community and local residents.
