Garden description
Modern stone built detached house in Yardley Hastings with the garden wrapping around three sides, (rear of). New building work and the removal of a large leylandii hedge means that the garden view from the house as well as access to has changed and both seating areas and view points need redesigning. The rear garden runs roughly on a north/south axis and has a depth of only 12metres from the kitchen bifold doors but has a width of nearly 44 metres. A new eleagnus hedge has been planted for privacy but there is much new planting area freed up still by the removal of the leylandii. The garden sits 1 metre above the floor level in the kitchen so new steps and access need to be incorporated into the seating and patio which will be on the upper level. The soil is a heavy loam with a neutral to alkaline ph, there is some established planting that can be retained.Style
