A medium sized garden with some established trees. Originally sloping up from the house to a summerhouse with timber retaining beds on several levels, these had rotted away. Planting was tired and sparse, soil very light and Sandy with tree roots gravel and torn plastic sheeting mixed in with it. Soil was well drained and dry and on the acid side of neutral.Style
