Garden description
A garden designed and built over a number of years starting in 2007. Original sycamore mature tree’s predating the house build screen the house towards the west. Tall leylandii hedges with newer Betula doorenbos screening housing to the south with mixed newer planting to the east and frontage. Soil is fertile but an unusual type of silty clay That maybe an infill material for an old quarry that preceded the housing in this area. Alkaline soil, regularly mulched over the years, the soil can get very dry near the trees.Style
