This shrub was in my garden when I moved just over a year ago, but so far I have been able to identify it, any ideas?

    Hi there,
Looks like a Pinus of some type- but could you do a close up- or a written discription including what the needles are like- (soft and flexible- or brittle, Sharp points or dull? and what ever else you can tell us about it. cheers!

      Hi Cris

      Thanks for your interest.

The needles are soft & flexible with sharp points and a very pale green initially. They grow to nearly 9" and turn a much darker green before eventually turning brown and falling off.

      Hope this helps.

      Regards

      Norman

What a magnifiscent plant! Pinus wallichiana? Send us another pic when the cones are mature.
