Hi, Hazel,
Cut the flower stalk off at the base so the plant doesn't expend any more energy on seed production. Clivia tends to flower when roots are restricted so let it get a little pot-bound (assuming it is in a pot) before repotting. If in a container, do you take it outside in summer? Is it fed regularly in growth? Is it getting adequate light? It should be in bright, filtered or indirect light.

Hi.

I have a beautiful clivia that bloomed some months ago with 21 flowers. The flower stem, with a large seed bud remains & I don't know how I should 'after care'. Could someone pls advise?

P.s. I had this plant for many years before it actually bloomed. It was actually a 'baby' - one of 7 from the original mother that I also had for many years & that only bloomed once! All info gratefully received.

Thank you

Hazel
