Hi, Claude,
Even though blueberries are self-fertile (they can pollinate themselves and produce fruit) it is recommended that 1-2 additional blueberry bushes are planted nearby because this cross-pollination will produce higher yields and larger fruit. The blueberry bush(es) planted with 'Blue Jay' do not have to be 'Blue Jay' plants, they just have to be blueberry bushes that flower at the same time as 'Blue Jay'

It states in your description of the 'Blue-Jay' bush that it requires 'another' blue berry bush for pollination - does that mean from the same or can it be from a non-Blue-Jay group?
