For something that big I think you require the advice of a tree surgeon. We prune our smaller Cedrus in the spring, but a tree surgeon can asses the situation and advise the best plan of action for your big tree as there are often variables to consider when pruning large trees.

Our atlas cedar is huge and needs serious pruning as it's now putting almost the entire garden in shade. When should this be done?
