Technically, Rudbeckia hirta 'Moreno' is a biennial or short-lived perennial so it should flower again. Because it is short-lived, it is usually labelled & sold as an annual. Nice that yours survived the winter!

I grew this plant from seed last year and it flowered. I believe that new shoots are coming through this spring. As a half hardy annual what should i expect, will it flower again?
