Hi, I have been given a clump of rhubarb and want to know if and when i can pick some off to cook? I have put it in a pot on my patio after being in a dark stable all winter, it is now about 24" high at the moment, thanks Geoff.

Hi, Geoffrey,
Does it have healthy looking leaves? If the plant looks healthy, you can harvest now. Leave at least four stalks to keep the plant going.

Hi Kathy, It has all gone limp and soggy since i took it outside from the dark inside , apart from two healthy looking stalks,i will leave it to grow on and take your advice. Many Thanks indeed, Geoff.
