I want to keep my eucalyptus low growing - a low bush - have been told can cut down every 2 or 3 years. How low can I safely cut without destroying it?

Hi, Gilly, How old is the tree? If at least 2-3 years, I have seen them safely pollarded (cut by about half) in spring. Kathy C

Thanks Kathy C. I will check in with the grower & see what he says but I think it can be cut close to the base. It is 2 - 3 years old.
