Hi, Eileen,
It depends on how much work you will want to do. It is quite a large shrub at maturity so will need a large container. Every 3-4 years, you will need to root prune to keep the roots from outgrowing or girdling the pot and it will need regular water and feeding, particularly since it will be in a container.

Thank you Kathy - I'm having second thoughts now. Don't think the root pruning could be an option as it would be a big and heavy plant. Thanks anyway - Eileen
