I don't have 'Big ears' particularly, but ordinary lambs ears you can split (dig up the bits that are in the places you don't want) and there are lots of roots ready to be established in new places or in pots to give away. But if you don't want to spread it around your garden or anyone else's, I'm sure it won't hurt to dig away the edges!
