The pots have morning sun and have grown there successfully for 2 years (I put them in those pots last spring)- last winter they where fleecd with no problem. I fleeced them Nov - March. I didn't water but kept checking the soil and they appeared damp in both pots. The pots have drainage holes. I have not fed them since I changed pots.
Questions first :) Is that a shady spot? How long has it been in that container? How long have you had it fleeced? Is the container adequately drained? Have you continued watering through the winter?
I have just taken the fleece off my two cordyline banksil sprilecpink and to my shock and horror they are no longer pink but a dark purple( centre leaves) and brown (outer leaves) Can anyone please advise me what to do? Photos attached. Many thanks Jenny

Hi, Anne, It sounds as if you have some suckers on your plant - a bonus - but also sounds like it is pot bound. It is best to remove suckers in early spring, but given the fact that yours sounds like it is in dire need of repotting, you can do it now. use a sharp, clean knife to sever the sucker (offshoot) from the base of the plant. Hi I have just purchased this beautiful looking plant. it is in a 9cm pot from which the roots are appearing from the bottom, it appears to have 2 plants in it.
My question is would I be able to split the plant and repot in larger pots or would I need to repot as they are now.
I don't want to kill the plant so any advice would be useful
Thanks in advance
Anne
