Can you advise? Most of our Acer's leaves are purple. However the tops of some leaves, especially under the foliage, are green. And its not just the underside of the leaf. Should I do anything about this? If so what? Thank you

I suppose the word is miracle gro rather than miracle grow, same thing, except an ad. word used , a balanced fertilizer will also feed the roots, if I was trying to green up a lawn quickly, I would use a nitrogen fertilizer only.
Why don't you use a balanced fertilizer like 14-14-14 0r triple 16, I use granular and water it in well, I thought miracle grow was a foliar feed, mostly used for annuals,I could be wrong.
Can you please tell me which Miracle-gro feed do I use on my Acer Atropurpureum? I think it should be a Hi-Nitrogen feed but none of the feeds that I have seen say if it is Hi-Nitrogen or otherwise. If you can help, I would be grateful.

Did you have any hail? sometimes that tears the leaf, if not , could it be leaf miner damage? never had a problem with mine and it is 30 years old, except for the hail.
My young maple is showing signs of damage. It started on the bottom leaves and now has spread to all the leaves. Its as though they are withering and drying out on the edges and with speckles now all over the leaves. Any advice is welcome.
