If the leaves falling of are yellow, it might be a case of over watering, the best way to test to see if the plant is getting enough water is to dig away from the root ball, go as deep as the root ball would be and see if it is dry. A lot of people think they have watered enough, when really it has not gotten down to the root ball, also if the surrounding soil is dry, it soaks up a lot of the moisture.

Purchased in July planted with root stimulator and drip system. Planted on south side of a fence. Plants started to loose leaves from bottom up. Watered everyother day with drip. After a couple of weeks backed off to 1 watering. Half of them are loosing nearly all leaves. Am I watering too much? Purchased hardy 3 gallon plants. Please help I do not want to loose them.
