Sure. Both are about 1.5m at maturity so can grow in containers happily. If recently purchase, repot in a container about 5cm in diameter larger than what it is currently in. Repot every year or so until you reach the largest size pot you desire (the larger the better). Since growing in a container, it is important to regularly water and feed your roses. Once they have been in their final container for about 3-4 years, you will need to root prune the plants. This involves lifting the shrubs and removing not more than 1/3 of the rootball. Do this when they are dormant. This will need to be done every 3 or 4 years to prevent the plants from becoming pot-bound.

is it possible to grow the rose gertrude jekyll and comte de chambord in containers and if so what size?
