Why is my star jasmine yellow?

Why is my star jasmine yellow?

Question from Mrs Jill Lewis

I planted my star jasmine last spring and whilst it has grown (I realise its slow to grow) and has some new spring growth some of the foliage is decidedly yellow. It's in a sunny and sheltered spot. Does anyone know the cause of this yellowing and have any suggestions or remedies please?

As long as it is getting new growth, it should be fine, all broad leaved evergreens shed their leaves in spring or after they get new growth, give it some fertilizer and it should do fine.
