Moving a Teucrium
Moving a Teucrium

I have a plant which I believe to be a Teucrium x lucidrys which I bought in the Isle of Wight and planted here in Hertfordshire. It simply loves where it lives, and bees and butterflies love it too. However I have to move it as it lives in a part of the garden which is being excavated to lay new water pipes. I thought I would do this in September but worry about its root system - does it have deep roots? I had a poke around earlier and it seems to be very firmly ensconced. Will it sit happily in an open bed or does it prefer shelter? I should be so grateful for a little advice.Thanks. Vivien
