I beg to differ on 'well drained' - mine thrive in moisture retentive

I bought these plants deliberately because they are known to enjoy boggy conditions. Mine have been in flower since July and are still in flower in October. They are beautiful plants and have established wonderfully in my London clay soil garden. So I'd suggest the designation of 'moisture-retentive' is added!

Mine are growing in my north facing border and it gets quite wet in winter - so far they have come through no problem and like yours flower for months.
