Moving a Pieris Cupido

Hi I have a Pieris which I think is Cupido, it is rather near to the edge of the boarder, and ii would like to move it back, its just finished flowering when is the best time for me to move it

    Fall is always the best time except for late blooming things and plants that are tender, if it is quite large, thin out the branches keeping to the form of the shrub, this compensates for loss of roots and water it well next summer.
