There's an object stuck to my cursor in the planner

When I try and drop the object on the plan, it doesn't drop onto the grid and remains stuck to the cursor. How do I stop this?

Save your work and close down and reopen the planner. Your design will reload to the latest save, but the cursor should not be stuck to the line any more.
