New pricing structure

Is shoot going to be only for professionals? I used to be a hobby gardener with just two gardens but splashed out upgrading to professional. I have locked in at the current price but when that expires i will not be able to afford to continue. My friend who is a hobby gardener says she thinks that it is going to stop. Is that right? If so what other options are people looking at

Hi there Mrs Finch, yes that is correct.

Communication to our professional members
We sent out communications to our professional members this summer which you can read here.

Communication to our home/hobby members
We sent this email to all home subscribers as well. For everyone with a current paid 'home' subscription they can use the New Shoot after our relaunch at no extra cost until their subscription expiry date.

New pricing coming soon
The new pricing from 16 March 2023 will be one tier for all members.

Urgent action for 'home' subscriptions expiring soon
We have also urgently notified all 'home' customer subscribers who have a subscription expiry pending soon that they still have time download all their content now before their subscription expires. All members can check their subscription end date in their My Subscriptions & Billing page.

Upgrade option
Some home subscribers, like yourself, have already chosen to upgrade to a professional subscription now before we make the move across.

Current subscriber upgrade FAQs
1. Will I lose the remaining term of my current paid subscription? No, you will not lose out. By making a new subscription purchase, you will be credited the value of your remaining term at the same time as a credit off.
2. When will my next renewal date be? Your new subscription will be for 12 months from the date of your new subscription purchase.

We hope that helps explain the changes coming and the options now available.

Best wishes, Thea

I have an additional query to the above. I am also a home user. I have read the reply and clicked on to the links above, but do not find that the information for home users is clear.

I have over a year to run on my current home subscription. What do I need to do to carry on iwth that - if that is even possible?

Thank you,

Mairi

Hi there, yes we can help. You can use Shoot up until the end of your current paid term.

Some members purchased longer term subscriptions which sounds like you if you have more than 1 year.

Yes you can stay on with Shoot for longer if you wish. You have three options to continue - 1) you can upgrade now to a pro subscription for 5 gardens at the current lower price until 10th March 2023; 2) you can wait until your next renewal and pay the higher price at that time; or 3) we will be offering discount offers to all paying home members post launch from 16th March 2023 up until 31 May 2023. More details will be coming post-launch. I hope that helps? Best wishes, Thea
