Although I was a gardener for many years I never took the time to notice which flowering plants butterflies didn’t go to.
I want a pretty garden, but I don’t want butterflies. I know how important they are, but they can do their ‘thing’ either at the bottom of my garden, or in someone else’s.
I hate them. They terrify me. The fear escalates beyond anything imaginable if one gets in the house. I almost fell of a ride-on mower one day when I was attacked by a butterfly leaping out from a bush and aiming straight for my jugular !! You probably get my point by now.
So, has anyone noticed which flowering plants rarely have a visit from a butterfly, please?
