Rosmarinus officinalis

Hi. How long have you had the plant? The flowers on rosemary are not really conspicuous and don't last very long in spring. Some years, I notice the flowers for a couple of weeks, when they are covered in bees, but often I'm only aware of foliage. I would say they are a fleeting joy rather than a key feature of the plant.

Hi, Anne,
Best time to take semi-hardwood cuttings of Rosmarinus is in summer. Do you have this plant in your 'Plants I Have' list? If so, you will get monthly care instructions on how to care for your rosemary - including advice on propagation. All the best!

It flowers from mid-spring to early summer and will sometimes repeat-flower in the autumn. It is often humming with bees. Rosemary is a native of the Mediterranean. As a culinary herb, rosemary is used for flavouring meat, poultry, savoury dishes and salads.
