Hi, Teresa, From everything I have read, it will take anywhere from 3-5 years for your vine to produce a viable crop. It may be on the shorter side of that time frame if the vine is happy and planted in the right conditions. Most important, make sure your vine gets plenty of sun. Pruning is important - too much pruning means lots of leaves but little fruit, too little pruning gives lots of poor quality fruit. Saw this great guide that explains what to do: http://www.gardening-guides.com/pdf-library/grapes.pdf Or, check out the RHS site for advice. Happy pruning. Kathy C.
