Erica carnea 'December Red'

Hi, Teresa,
I am not familiar with the climate in Montreal, so can only give advice based on what I have seen/experienced in the UK. I have learned with Erica, no matter what type, that they must be in acid conditions and they must get some moisture over the winter if they are in a pot. I've never grown Erica indoors, so not sure what to advise - only guess is that it would be too warm all year round for it to be happy.

I live in Montreal, Quebec Canada. I would like to know can I grow Erica Carnea 'December Red' inside or is it a strictly outdoor plant? I also have Erica Darleyensis 'Mary Helen' which I plan to grow outside will it be ok if left in a pot in the winter time?
