Hi, David,
It's hard to say without knowing where it is growing (including climate, soil, sun exposure, etc) and how you have been caring for it thus far. First step, if you haven't already done so, is to check out its plant page here on Shoot to see if you have it growing in the best conditions possible.

Hi Cathy, thanks for this. The only way I break the rules in the web guidance on this site is having them in full sun. I use the right compost in the pot, I feed regularly with acid feed and water with purified tap water to avoid the chalk. I live in Wiltshire on chalky soil. Any furgher help very gratefully received. David
