Hi, Pilar,
As a general rule, Acorus gramineus 'Variegatus' is pest and disease free. It should be easy to grow in wet or very moist, fertile soil in full sun. You can even grow it in baskets in shallow ponds. Maintenance isn't too intense. Cut it back after it flowers (it flowers in summer) and the key to keeping most ornamenal grasses happy is to divide them every few years. Otherwise, they get too congested and the centres will die.
Hope this has been helpful!
