Hi Julie,
It's best to cut this plant back after flowering, to allow for fresh foliage to grow for autumn and winter, and also to keep it dense and compact. If you add the plant to your 'plants i have' list you'll receive regular care updates talking you through what to do and when, [LINK]https://https://www.shootgardening.com/plant/aubretia-purple-cascade?referrer=%2Fplant%2Fsearch%3Fq%3DPurple%26amp%3Bfeature%3Dfoliage%26amp%3Bfilter%3Dcolour%26amp%3Bqualify%3D16[/LINK].
Make sure that you keep fed and watered throughout the growing season.
Hope this helps!
