Thanks Kathy C for this advise.
It is clay soil that may be a bit too wet.Would it help to add some sand to this area before trying again.

Hi, Denise,
I am wondering if the spot you are planting them in is well-drained. Good drainage is a must for planting rhubarb.

I have tried to grow rhubarb a number of time from established plants from family as well as buying plant from reputable mailorder companies. This year it lasted over winter and started to grow but then just withered. How can i grow it?
