Hi, Steve,
Lovely plants but P. japonica 'Valley Rose' and P. japonica 'Valley Valentine' are two different cultivars. 'Valley Valentine' has an AGM, 'Valley Rose' does not - and they are listed separately in the RHS plant finder and are not identified as synonyms.
