Hi,
Since most of the lower leaves are gone, that must be a critter - probably rabbit if they are around. The leaves with holes are another culprit - the type made indicative of caterpillars or slugs. I'm inclined to think caterpillar since they are higher up on the plant. Tho, when hungry enough, slugs and snails will climb! :)

2 not very good photos! All lower leaves and parts of stem eaten and only a handful of munched leaves at top left. Hope this works.

Hi, Susie,
Can you post a photo? Seeing the type of damage would help determine who is munching.

I planted a newly bought 3 feet high Moroccan Broom in my sunny garden 3 weeks ago and all the leaves have been munched apart from a handful at the top of it. I have been spraying it with insecticide but it doesnt seem to have stopped the munching. Help!

Hi Barry,

Cytisus battandieri doesn't tend to need much pruning, but a light tidying up immediately after flowering will result in a bushy, healthy tree.

Hope this helps - don't forget to add to your 'plants I have' list to receive regular care updates: Cytisus battandieri.

Regards
Katy
