Hi, Helen, If you live in an area with mild winters, you can leave the tuber in the ground. It should pop up next spring. If winters have freezing temps, lift the tubers and plant them in loose compost. Store them in a cool, dark place that won't freeze. Having said that, if your top growth hasnt' died back or isn't too tatty, you can put it in the greenhouse and, depending on the temperature, it will either go dormant and lose leaves (cooler greenhouse) or, if the temps are above 60F and it has good light, it will remain as is. Can anyone advise on what to do with this during the winter? I have taken a few cuttings to be on the safe side. Should I cut it back at all or just pop it in the greenhouse to overwinter?
Any advice would be appreicaited.
